At our National Congress held in December 2003, we had really a big challenge in front of us. The owner of our rented Latihan Hall wanted it back in six months, so we had to look for a new place in the very expensive property market of Lisbon. After three weeks of searching we identified an old factory space with 300m2 on the 2nd floor of a building placed in a very good location, close to public transports, restaurants and shopping areas.

The price ….. well the price of purchase plus the estimated cost for renovations was, half a million dollars…… and the reality was that Subud Portugal didn’t had one cent for this purpose; so the whole thing seemed out of our capacity to reach. However we kept feeling that this place was an amazing gift and indeed what we needed it for our group... The centre includes a reception area, a cafeteria, toilets and changing rooms, a medium-size meeting room and a large, airy latihan hall. On the floor above are the offices of two Subud enterprises.

Mondays (Women) 17:30 (Men) 19:00
Thursdays (Women) 17:30 and 18:45 (Men) 20:00
Sundays (Women) 10:45 (Men) 11:30
